2017-18 NBA Awards Results, Winners

The second annual NBA Awards show aired live on TNT on Monday, June 25 featuring the traditional season-ending awards plus new categories, all determined exclusively by fan voting.

All of the league’s finest—except LeBron James—were in attendance to watch the show and a number of players went home with awards. The show was hosted by comedian and actor Anthony Anderson and was filled with jokes and hilarious moments, even including eleven-time NBA champion Bill Russell “flipping off” Charles Barkley on national television.

Rookie of the Year: Ben Simmons


Defensive Player of the Year: Rudy Gobert

Sixth Man of the Year: Lou Williams

Coach of the Year: Dwane Casey

Most Improved Player: Victor Oladipo

Sagar Strong Award: Dikembe Mutombo


Lifetime Achievement Award: Oscar Robertson


Twyman Stokes Teammate of the Year: Jamal Crawford

Community Assist Award: Kevin Durant


Executive of the Year: Daryl Morey – Houston Rockets


NBA Hustle Award: Amir Johnson


NBA Play of the Year: LeBron James – Feb. 7 vs. Minnesota
